Jordan and Kia were absolutely amazing and played a huge part in making our wedding night one we will never forget. From start to finish they were completely professional, easy to work with, and genuinely listened to everything we asked for. The dancefloor was packed all night long. Our guests could not stop dancing and the energy in the room was incredible. They read the crowd perfectly and kept the vibe going from the very first song to the very last. If you are looking for DJs who will truly deliver on your brief and have everyone on their feet all night, look no further. We cannot recommend Jordan and Kia highly enough. Jordan was an absolute standout at our after party following The Celebrant Conference. After two full days with 150 celebrants, he somehow kept the energy high and the dance floor full all night. What really impressed us was his flexibility. With a venue change just 90 minutes before kick-off, Jordan adapted without hesitation and made the whole thing look easy. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jordan and JLX Entertainment across multiple weddings, bar gigs, and events around Melbourne CBD and wine region, capturing photo and video content, and I can confidently say they are one of the most professional entertainment teams to work with. Jordan is easy to work with and always professional. One thing I’ve really noticed is how organised everything is behind the scenes, there are clear systems in place so events run smoothly, communication is straightforward and everyone knows what’s happening. As someone capturing content at events, it genuinely makes my job a lot easier and helps everything flow on the day. Every event I’ve shot with JLX has also just been a blast to work on. Whether it’s Jordan behind the decks or one of the other JLX DJs, the dance floor is always packed and the energy is unreal. You can tell they know how to read a crowd and keep people engaged all night, which makes for a really fun atmosphere to work in (and honestly, easy to enjoy while you’re there too). We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding party. From very early on in the process, JLX were professional, thorough, easy to communicate with, and genuinely invested in making our night special. The music was absolutely spot on all night from the first song and we knew instantly we could relax and have the best time! Raf read the crowd perfectly and kept the dance floor packed from start to finish. Every transition was seamless, and they balanced our must-play songs with their own great selections that suited the vibe perfectly. What really stood out was how they created such an amazing atmosphere. The energy never dropped, and so many of our guests commented on how good the music was. Trust Jordan and team to handle the flow of your event. We hired for MC and DJ. My husband had a particular song that he wanted played at a certain time, Jordan said it was too high energy and was able to incorporate it elsewhere. And omg it was the best place to put it! Thank you! Jordan knows how to read the room and because we had options for our bridal party dances, (to have them or not) and he said he'll play it by ear - He picked the best outcome and we didn't have to stress or get his attention! Looking back it was definitely one less stress on us! Thank you Jordan for checking in on us during the night. You didn't have to but you did, and we loved it. You were always calming and reassuring and that's the level of care you'd want at your event! Also, I love that you had a portable speaker and microphone for our sparkler farewell. My Husband and I hired JLX Entertainment for our Wedding in March. Jordan was great; professional, prompt with contact and communication, and adaptable to last minute changes I was still making days beforehand. On the day, he coordinated seamlessly with our MC (who was a family member). We had a lot of extra things we wanted to do at our Wedding. Alongside the formal dances, we did bridal party entrances, a bridal party dance, the anniversary dance (where married guests are invited to the floor and are asked to leave at intervals throughout the song based on how long they have been married), a one song photo dash and we played the Quest. This was so much fun as we had the MC give guests prompts for an item they must obtain i.e. something blue, while Jordan played a snippet of a corresponding song i.e. Blue (Da Ba Dee). Ultimately, Jordan was able to accommodate all of our requests which made the night so memorable. And at the end, when the dancefloor officially opened for free dancing, we had all but maybe 3 guests (some very old, not-so-mobile grannies) up and dancing until close. The energy all night was unreal, and the dancefloor was absolutely packed from start to finish; there were no dead moments at all. Every song just hit and kept everyone dancing. They made the night feel so seamless and fun, and I didn’t have to stress about anything. So many of my friends are still talking about how good the music was and how much fun they had.
